Free places at
Society for Social Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting,
Belfast, 6-8 September 2010

A number of free places are available for the Annual Scientific Meeting for those interested in the society and its aims who are on a low income (eg. PhD students or those working in the NHS or the voluntary sector). The grant covers conference fee/ registration, standard accommodation, and standard class travel. In return, successful applicants will be asked to provide a brief report on their experience / reflections on the meeting.

Applicants should nominate themselves by completing an application form which is available from Aileen Clarke at socsocmed@gmail.com. The closing date for applications is Friday 28th May 2010.

In the event of over subscription, two of the Society's committee members will select applicants based on the supporting statements provided on the form.
