2027 UK & Ireland Public Health Science Conference

After a successful UK & Ireland Public Health Science Conference (PHS) in Newcastle back in April this year, we are continuing our partnership with PHS for 2027. Next year, PHS will be hosted by the School of Health and Wellbeing, University of Glasgow, with the generous support of Professor Emma McIntosh.

When: Tuesday 20 April 2027, with a half-day event for early career researchers the preceding afternoon. 

Where: Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow city centre.


The 2027 conference theme is Embedding evidence and enabling change: improving health and wellbeing through policy and practice. Abstracts on any aspect of public health science that are relevant to the UK or Ireland are welcome and do not have to relate to this theme. Successful abstracts will be published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
