The Society for Social Medicine & Population Health organises an annual conference, typically in September, which is open to anyone interested in population health sciences and social medicine. Alongside parallel sessions of scientific presentations, each year we host two invited lectures: the Pemberton Lecture and the Cochrane Lecture. Our three priorities are quality research, networking and career development (especially for early career researchers and mid-career researchers).
Our conference thus welcomes a range of research approaches (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods) to address important issues in population health in its widest sense, spanning wellbeing, illness, and disease. Come and join us as we share information and network in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
